The story began with two people from two different ends. The first person is a girl who grew up as the eldest of three sisters in Bontang, East Kalimantan. She spent her childhood until the age of college in the distant land of Java. On the other hand, the boy lived as the youngest child in Sidoarjo until his end of highschool days.
The two tread the stream of life with the length passing time and the winding passage of the life itself. The girl paid back her scholarship for her study in ITS by being a teacher and continued her Master of Science study as well as working in a university in Bandung, West Java. Conversely, the boy flew thousands miles to Europe to acquire his Master degree, back to Jakarta as another hardworker under the city light and mixing through the crowd, and get another education degree in South Korea.
And just as it is, through a intricate yet simple point of time, while the boy contemplates through his life. A friend of his responded and helped the boy to exchange contact with the girl. Having a significant difference of timezone and distance, he sent an email that started a discussion. The discussion that deeply explored to our vision and how they see the past, present, and future.
Months and thousand miles have passed. The original lengthy timezone difference and distance have shortened to just three hours or 97 miles. The two people, the boy and the girl, together, agreed to be a family. They agreed to face the threads of fate with patience and sincerity, facing the next steps of their life. Again. Together.
